Like every saddle in Selle SMP's range, the Dynamic Carbon Rail Saddle is designed to reduce pressure in key sensitive zones, with its signature, dramatically dropped nose helping provide a flatter base without creating excessive pressure on soft tissue areas. There's also an extra-large central channel that runs the length of the saddle that further eliminates unwanted stress so you can focus more on the ride and less on your backside. Speaking of backs, at the rear of the saddle, it's raised to help you achieve an efficient pedaling position, especially while climbing, and better divides the weight distribution over the sit bones for more comfortable pedaling. Ultimately, the Dynamic Carbon is for road, tri, and mountain cyclist looking for a lightweight perch with minimal padding and put on pants with a waist size in the 32 to 37-inch range in the morning. The shell is constructed from a composite of nylon and carbon, which provides a firm pedaling platform, soaks up excessive road vibrations, and keeps things nice and light. Padding comes in the form of elastomer foam which again contributes to a firm feel but is also forgiving. Covering that padding is soft, smooth, genuine leather that adds a great aesthetic and is hard-wearing. Finally, this Dynamic affixes to your seatpost via lightweight carbon fiber rails, dropping weight while remaining durable and smooth.
