Shimano's Ultegra 6700-G 53T B-Type Chainring is super stiff and quite light thanks to it's two-piece construction. The hollow chainring is made up of a carbon fiber backing plate glued to a forged aluminum cap, which is where the teeth are. SG-X—Super Glide X—indicates Shimano's Super Glide tooth profile with ramps and pins to facilitate shifting. For optimal performance, this chainring should only be used with Super Glide chains. Compatible with Shimano 6700-series cranks only.
